Jenny Shin Clinches 2026 ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open 1174 1565 ISPS Handa

An incredible four days of golf has catapulted Jenny Shin into a popular and emotional win in the 2026 ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open at Dundonald Links.

The South Korean player achieved the victory in the hardest of ways by leading for all four days and fighting off a slew of challengers down the stretch.

What made the victory even more impressive was that it was only her second professional win and it came over 10 years after her first win.

The championship was an outstanding success for the LPGA, LET, Scottish Government and title sponsor ISPS HANDA, who have held that position for the past three championships.

Without doubt the 2026 championship enjoyed the strongest field in its history, with seven of the top 10 players in the world taking part.

Despite a leaderboard featuring many of golf biggest names, it was Jenny Shin who outplayed everyone from the start to the very end to record a victory powered by resilience and belief.

Dundonald Links bared its teeth during the week, and seemed to provide its sternest test in recent memory. The rough was brutal and the greens demanded respect on all four days.

Shin opened with a 66 and followed that up with a 67 and 71. The challengers came at her thick and fast on the final day, but she stayed the course to win by two shots.

An emotional Shin thanked the Tours, Dundonald, the fans and ISPS HANDA, as she accepted the trophy.

“I can’t believe — I can’t believe it happened this week”, Shin said.

“I think the people around me, how they just patiently waited for me and believed in me, because I never really believed in myself. That’s what got me emotional.”

After a difficult few years on the tour, Shin remarked on what has kept her going throughout the tough times: “The competition. I kept looking at the leaderboard and I hate being chased but at the same time, I think I love adrenaline.

Speaking about the Championship, Shin said “You know, it’s really nice. Feels like a bit of a family. I want to thank everyone, all the volunteers – I can’t thank them enough. The golf course was unbelievable despite how dry it was.”

ISPS HANDA was extremely well represented with playing Ambassadors with Charley Hull, Minjee Lee, Hannah Green and Ash Buhai taking part in the Championship.
