ISPS Handa Ambassador Padraig Harrington has been inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame and he is only the third Irishman to ever receive this special honour.
He was a very well deserved addition to the institution, having won three major championships during his career, namely the 2007 and 2008 Open Championships and also the 2008 PGA Championship. It remains one of the most devastatingly successful 13 month spans in golf history.
He won 21 events combined on the PGA Tour and European Tour and in 2008 he won the PGA Player of the Year, PGA Tour Player of the Year and the European Tour Player of the Year.
He played in five Ryder Cups and also captained the European Team in 2021.
