Scott Scheffler, the popular 2022 Masters Champion, won the 2022 Male Player of the Year Award at the recent ceremony sponsored by ISPS Handa during the Masters Tournament.
In what was a very competitive year, Scheffler received just under 50% of the votes, edging out Cameron Smith amongst others.
His year was punctuated with four wins, including the Masters, which was his first-ever Major Championship.
Other major player awards at the dinner included ISPS Handa Ambassador Lydia Ko’s win in the Female Player of the Year category and Steve Alker being named the Senior Player of the Year.
